It’s been two months since the terrible earthquake that devastated Haiti. The Red Helmet Foundation was mobilized just hours after the disaster and is now able to evaluate its local action during these months.

PARIS, 18 février 2010 (AFP) - Le président haïtien, René Préval, et l'ancienne secrétaire d'Etat française aux droits des victimes, Nicole Guedj, ont lancé jeudi un appel "à tous les Etats" à créer à l'ONU des Casques rouges, force de coordination de l'aide et de réaction rapide lors de catastrophes naturelles.
"C'est en responsabilité que nous lançons à l'ensemble des chefs d'Etat un appel" à créer des Casques rouges, écrivent M. Préval et Mme Guedj dans une tribune publiée dans plusieurs journaux européens, dont le quotidien français Le Monde, et transmise à l'AFP.
