The humanitarian action at the time of climate change: The Red Helmets Foundation organise its first symposium at Sciences Po the 16th of october at 5 pm to 7.30 pm.
There is no more month without any hurricanes, cyclones or earthquakes happen. Every years, more than 250 million poeple are victims of their natural disasters . It is going to rise sharply to reach in 2015, 375 million poeple. Even if all of the humanitarian actors are mibilized, the community is not able to walk away with the climatic change challenge. We have to think of a new humanitarian governance and of the creation of the Red Helmets in the UN.
