A new food ration
Nowadays, only but a few food rations are meeting people’s expectations, when they are in a situation of emergency crisis. There are food rations matching malnutrition’s requirements or special children needs, but none of them can feed a adult in stable nutrition condition.
To fill in this lack, the Red Helmets Foundation is developing a new ration food. It will be offered to NGOS and local authorities in countries where humanitarian crisis are likely to occur.
A work team composed by researchers, doctors and ER staff has been created to work on this project. The latter has been led by François Gros, Permanent Secretary of the Academy of sciences and sponsor of the Red Helmets Foundation.
