This symposium, placed under the high patronage of Mister Jean-Louis Borloo, Minister of the Environment, takes place on the eve of the Summit of Copenhagen and will try to bring some answers to the main issues that will be tackled during this long-awaited meeting.
Nicole Guedj will participate in the workshop concerning the following subject: " When it comes toconstraints, are the policies of regulation enough? " It will take place on Friday, November 27th, from 9:30 am till 11 am.
Can all the constaints, from the challenge of energy resources, that of the population growth to phenomenon of the climatic migrations, be tackled only thanks to the implementation of policies of regulation? The speakers, sall from various backgrounds, will answer successively this question according to the constraints that they meet in their everyday life.
Nicole Guedj, will speak in particular about the limits of the policies of regulation when it comes to the constraints imposed by natural disasters. The Red Helmets Foundation President will thus privilege the policies of anticipation and adaptation and will present the missions of the Red Helmets.
