Under the presidency of Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe, Togo backs Red Helmets project.
The Togolese President considers that it is necessary to sponsor Nicole Guedj's project, especially regarding its objectives in terms of scouting, coordination and intervention in places of humanitarian catastrophes.
For him, as for the Red Helmets Foundation, such a device is needed, since the international community goes through difficult times, characterised by increasingly severe climatic vicissitudes, which are damageable for people and goods.
President Gnassingbe is committed to ensure that the Red Helmets Foundation will always getthe support from [his] country, necessary to the fulfilment of its mission, that is, the protection and promotion of human rights.
